Claudio di Paco duets with many artists for charity

The singer from Livorno, Claudio di Paco, has decided to launch a CD for charity for our poor village of Batang in Indonesia, thanks to all the artists who have given their support to this project and that are brought into play in a series of duets unmissable.

16 April Pegaso Star Organizzazioni Eventi in Livorno helps our association

Saturday 16 April at 21:00, in the Theatre of the Salesians in Livorno, will be held Pegaso Star Music Festival event that came to the fourteenth edition of this national demonstration Edit and Unpublished Songs organized by Pegaso Star Organizzazioni Eventi in Livorno.

14th edition of the National Exhibition 

This event will be hosted by Marco Leonetti, Radio Incontro and will feature 22 emerging singers from all over Italy, interspersed by the choreography of the Studio Live Dance Academy and Costa Etruschi Model Agency.

Each year, this event raised funds to be donated to various associations for cancer research and the various humanitarian organizations like UNICEF this year thank Claudio Tantardini who thought to our reality of Sunflower Association operating for several years in Indonesia and this year began a free schooling for children aged 2 to 5 years.

In Indonesia I found the taste of love and rediscovered the word happiness.

People have more and more need to be loved, because there is allontando from each other and no one has time to stop and enjoy the simple everyday gestures that start at caresses, kisses and sincere greetings.

Being among these people gave me a chance to catch these little habits and then resume the taste of love and to live as long as the most precious gift.

A new computer for Sunflower Association

The day is spent yesterday, tomorrow is yet to come and we have only today.
If we help the people who are close to being what it should be today, will have the courage to deal with life, in every moment, with greater love.

I'm happy because so many people over the years have not left us alone, but they helped, supported and shared all our projects, have taken charge of children and families and contnuano inform themselves and to pray for us.

In this day Mr. Anselmo Dentella, after he knew that we had broken the computer immediately responded by sending the money to buy it again and so we can continue to tell and bring our experience of the poor in Indonesia.

Now you all know that the project is that for accomodaton a family of Dedy and we are still missing about 900 euro and will continue to update.

We have helped Wusa Christian Middle school

Sunflower Association help WUSA Christian Middle School near the Sam Ratulangi airport, and now want make a room of computer for the student.

The WUSA Christian Middle School

This school is not great and the building is old and in poor condition.
This school is located behind the airport Sam Ratulangi Manado in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, and has three classes: Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3, this school is surrounded by fruit trees and plants, and the principal is Yusny S.Pd.

We gave her a contribution of 5 million rupiah to do the work of restoring the walls and painting, there remain problems in the bathrooms and you would be able to realize a room to put the computer, if someone has the ability or and knowledge to help this actually we are really happy to do so.

The students and the principal thanked the Sunflower Association and hope to realize their dream. Thanks for the contribution of all and people who care about the Indonesia and children.

The birthday party of the mother Baramuli in the school

Today, October 30, 2014 at 14:00 is the birthday of Prof. Dr. Albertina N. Baramuli, and the founder of the school, it is a beautiful sunny day and were prepared three tents in the school Akper Baramuli.

The event took place in this way: a car has accompanied her in school and she was a surprise and just saw all the kids gathered for her, she was moved and had words for everyone.

Today is his birthday and is celebrating its 84 years old, a woman of character, who continues his studies at the Christian University in Jakarta for his passion for the study and the children.

She has 4 sons and his hobbies include writing, reading, painting, and sewing and loves all kinds of plants and flowers.

The world of education is his life and when he opens a can every where, her husband was Dr. Arnold Baramuli, the first governor of Central Sulawesi and North Sulawesi, but died eight years ago, leaving a great remembrance in a people.

As long as he was alive her husband Mrs. Baramuli taught in schools and has participated in conferences around the world, she likes to call the school warrior, who fights every day for the instruction and education of the children.

The Indonesian government has awarded with 7 Medals for his service, thanking them for their dedication and commitment in the world of education in Indonesia.

A big thank you from Sunflower Association and all the kids in the school, Paolo Bellini has sent a donation 2,994,500 rupiah (now there are only 1,740 Euro to complete this work also).

15 liters of color, brushes and paint thinner 600,000 rupiah
6 ventilations: 114,000 rupiah
2 locks for the doors of bathrooms: 275,000
1 bag of plaster: 52,000 rupee
3 light bulbs with holders: 103,000 rupiah
2 tubes for water and 1 tap: 362,000 rupiah
water pump, tube and fasteners: 1,490,000 rupiah

The Village of Kulu and her people

The Village of Kulu is very small city and positioned in a strategic location, situated on a bluff overlooking the ocean.

We went to the very poor village of Kulu, a few miles from where Likupang in Indonesia, from the promontory where lies this small town, you can enjoy this nice landscape, that makes you want to dive into the ocean from the distance.

Here we met the people in the church at the center of the town and where the welcome was warm and wanted to know our school and our Sunflower Association and they put their problems in our hands, looking at the sky and saying that God, help us and protect us.

Grandmother must be take many medicines

The grandmother Yuliana, is sick and must be take many medicines every day and now is very confused because don't have money.

Yuliana Dulumina, born in Lalong Island, Central of Sulawesi, Indonesia on 06 March 1937 and now she is 77 years old and lives is in Airmadidi. 

Grandmother Yuliana has two mans : Chris and Frans and two womens : Theresia and Cicilia.
The children had married and her husband was dead many times ago.
Grandmother Yuliana doesn’t have a work and she’s old and still sick.
She has diabetics and rheumatism.
Every month she goes to the hospital in the city for buy some medicines by herself.
The medicines is much expensive and should be take every day.
Her hoping if someday, there is someone who can help her to relieve the cost of treatment is very happy.

Observing families in Indonesia I 'm realizing that the family is the first place where every children learns the meaning of work.

I learn at least twice :

1 . Seeing her parents work.

2 . Through the "work" that takes place within the family.

On this aspect does not speak much in our western culture if not in reflections negative impact on children labor or slavery, yet it represents a milestone in the development of the boy, growing up knowing the joys and difficulties of human and material of labor within the life family.
